Marc Cappelletti is a seasoned marketer, product developer, and strategic storyteller with an affinity for all things wild.
He has served as Vice President of Expedition Development for Lindblad Expeditions and National Geographic, where he crafted and managed small ship expeditions in Alaska, Canada, Mexico and Central America. Marc has also worked with EYOS Expeditions to craft private yacht expeditions, and Seatrade Cruise Global to share the best of ship-based travel and destinations with the world.
Prior to that, Marc marketed international internships for Global Experiences, helping hundreds of college students gain work experience abroad. He has extensive experience in travel marketing and business development, spent a year as a small ship cruise director for Intrav/Clipper Cruise Line where he learned the power of customer empathy.
Marc most recently served as the Director of Marketing and Communications for The Biomimicry Institute, where he led strategy and the dissemination of impact messaging that resonated with diverse audiences.
His personal writing and photography has appeared in National Geographic's Intelligent Travel Blog, Porthole Cruise Magazine, Lindblad Expeditions and National Geographic Expeditions brochures, the Philadelphia Inquirer, Toronto Star, and the Huffington Post.
